The Promises of Our Lady of the Precious Blood 

The month of July is the month of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. Mother Teresa Boun was a nun and mystic, born in the United Kingdom. She died on November 22, 1967. The Blessed Virgin revealed to her that if someone invoked her under the beautiful title of 'Our Lady of the Precious Blood', they would obtain the following graces:

"I will teach you with special care that the yoke of my Son is truly gentle and light.

 I will obtain for you an exceptional purity.

A perfect charity will reign in your heart, for the Blood of my Son is the river of divine Charity.

I will assist you in a special way at the time of your death.

I will shorten your pains in Purgatory by applying to you the infinite merits of the Precious Blood.

Invoke me under the title of "Our Lady of the Precious Blood" and I will immediately fly to your aid, for in heaven and on earth after the Divine Will there is nothing that I love more than the Precious Blood of my Son.

To all the religious who honour the Precious Blood, I promise to give them the spirit of their vocation.

The tepid will become fervent and the already fervent will arrive more quickly at the perfection of religious life.

At the hour of their death, I will give back to them the robe of baptismal innocence."

Remember, O most gracious Queen of Martyrs, Our Lady of the Precious Blood, that never was it known that any of your children, redeemed by the blood of your Son, sought your intercession were left unaided. Trusting in the power of the precious blood, O Handmaid of the Redeemer, I fly to you my Queen and my Mother, and in the bitterness of my sorrow, I place myself at your feet. O Mother of Jesus crucified, unite my prayers with yours; obtain for me the merciful bounty of the divine blood. As I kneel beneath the cross, O Mother of Sorrows, hear and answer me. Amen.
